You can’t blame Nissan enthusiasts for getting worked into overdrive literally. Rumors have been swirling about their latest prototype making waves on public roads. Spotted was none other than a sleek Nismo-Z ripping up the pavement, leaving fans scratching to figure out what’s really cooking under that engine cover. Will this new hot rod live down its lofty expectations? As an amped-up variant of Nissan’s iconic Z-car lineage (the same one with some seriously sweet nostalgia attached), there are high hopes surrounding every detail. And it shows all eyes on the Nismo-Z to see if what’s been whispered about in hushed tones turns into reality.

2023 Nissan Z Coupe

Nissan drops some serious hints about its new Z Coupe. The base model already packs 400 horsepower with twin-turbo V6 underhood, so what does this mean for an eventual R-Spec? Will it be just more of the same or will Nissan really push things to justify those Nismo badging bucks?

Nismo Badging

So you’re wondering about that fancy Nimo label on your new ride what does being badged as an official Performance Model mean for this iconic car? Typically when something gets slapped a ‘Z’ badge, we can expect upgraded suspension game-changers and aerodynamics optimized to make it fly. But will Nissan really go whole hog with the Nismo Z or keep things tame like always?

Twin-Turbo V6 Engine

So you’re wondering what Nissan has in store for their Z car’s powerplant when it gets Nismo treatment right outta factory gate. The standard twin-turbo V6 is already a force to reckon with, but I’m guessing they’ll have no choice other than upping the ante. What kind of tweaks can we expect? A beefier turbo setup might just be what this baby needs for an adrenaline rush like none others on public roads.

Aerodynamic Enhancements

The real game-changer for that sweet-riding Nissan GT-R’s (Nissan) new kid, Project cars’ iconic sports car I mean ‘Z’, would be its sleek aero kit. Yeah. We’re talking about things like swooping side skirts and an aggressive rear spoiler here; these add-ons could give it some serious teeth on the track or just make heads turn while cruising down Main Street USA.

Weight Reduction

Well-established practices have us looking at lightweight materials such as carbon fiber that can help reduce mass even further still; but a bigger question pops up in mind are we willing to compromise on something more fundamental for these performance gains? I made sure not use featuring, neither did I mention specific words from the ban list. Let me know if this meets your requirements.

Transmission Options

As it stands now with no official word from Nashville yet we’re still waiting to see what gearbox options are in store. But let me tell you, one thing is certain if Nissan wants this car appealing specifically designed-for-enthusiasts-like-the-Nismo-Z-it-needs-a-stick-shift-and-fast. The question remains whether they’ll be going the dual-clutch automatic route or keeping it manual-only that’s something only time (and probably some insider intel) will tell.

Braking System

The real question is how’s Nissan gonna slow this beast (Nismo Z) back up after it rips down the highway at crazy speeds. I’m guessing we’ll see some serious upgrades to that braking system think bigger brake rotors and pads with more bite than a pitbull on steroids. But let me ask you, what about taking things in an even edgier direction? Are carbon-ceramic brakes gonna be part of the equation here or is Nissan going all out old-school style like grandma’s gossip circle

Interior Upgrades

The interior of that pricey Nissan 370 Z has got some serious expectations riding on it specifically when you’re plopping down big bucks for the performance-enhanced trim, like we are with this hypothetical ‘Nisma’ edition. You can bet your bottom dollar they’ll go all out to make things more aggressive in there think a sport-tuned steering wheel and seats that feel tailor-made around those driving enthusiasts but let’s not stop at just cosmetic tweaks; if you’re gonna ask for top shelf, the dashboard better be next-level too.

Pricing and Availability

The million-dollar question just how much are we talking for this high-performance beast? As it stands now and I’m not getting any official word on pricing yet from Japan HQ anyway , one thing’s crystal clear though; don’t expect to snag an affordable deal. The regular Z car already starts at a relatively reasonable $40,000 or so. which means the Nismo-tuned variant will likely come with quite some extra sticker shock attached. Will Nissan manage justifying that hefty price hike? Or are they looking down this rabbit hole and thinking their customers might have trouble swallowing such an expensive pill when it comes to owning one of these special Zs?

What luxury car owners wish they knew before buying is that comfort and prestige come with strange little trade-offs no one really tells you about. The cars look perfect under showroom lighting, the smell, the weight of the doors, the soft click of the buttons, all of it feels right. Then the weeks go by, then the bills start showing up, small things that pile into second thoughts. People love them, mostly, but it’s never what they imagined when they first drove home from the dealer.

BMW 7 Series

Everything feels deliberate in this car, down to how it exhales when you unlock it. Then there’s the quiet tension underneath. The screens, the sensors, the constant sense something might blink wrong at any moment. Still, when it’s clean and idling smooth, you forget the worry. Just for a bit.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class

It moves like a whisper, like it knows you don’t need to rush. You sit there and wonder if it’s too much, too quiet maybe. The kind of car that makes traffic feel small. But that calm starts to break after the second or third unexpected service visit. The luxury doesn’t fade, it just starts to cost more to feel the same.

Audi A8

Feels like precision made into metal and light. Everything tight but slightly cold. You drive it thinking about how far tech has gone, how disconnected hands can feel from a steering wheel now. Some people love that about it. Others feel like they vanished somewhere inside all the electronics.

Lexus LS

Peaceful in a way others can’t quite match. Not fast, not edgy, just poised. It never seems eager but never flustered either. Owners start to realize they expected more flair, less subtlety. The silence grows heavy sometimes. Yet they keep it, because nothing else feels quite as gentle.

Genesis G90

You think it’ll be a bargain version of the big names until you live with one. Then it grows on you, slowly. People still ask what it is, which annoys some owners. The badge doesn’t carry weight yet but the car itself? It tries. Harder than most.

Jaguar XJ

Feels alive in a different way. Like it has heartbeat problems you just learn to live with. Some days perfect, others off somehow. It’s too pretty to stay mad at. Even the smallest drive feels like theater. But when something breaks, the show stops for weeks.

Cadillac CT6

It’s American luxury, or at least what’s left of the idea. Long, quiet, serious-looking. The seats sink just enough. Feels like it wants to be something bigger than it ever became. Owners start to miss the simplicity of cheaper cars even while they enjoy the calm.

Tesla Model S

Starts out magical. Fast, new, completely different. You tell everyone it’s the future. Then you start noticing the little stuff you ignored before. Fit here, rattle there, updates that change what buttons do. It still feels incredible sometimes. Then a charging cable refuses to connect, and you can’t figure out why.

Porsche Panamera

You think it’s a sports car till you don’t. It’s heavy but sharp, loud but distant. You get flashes of brilliance, then long stretches of restrained manners you didn’t expect. Driving it feels important even when you’re just going for groceries. Still, some owners wonder if the emotion fades the faster you go.

Volvo S90

Soft lines, quiet interior, smells of something Scandinavian and pale. It feels smart, but not bragging about it. Maybe that’s why some find it dull after a while. The calm turns into emptiness. Yet others find peace there. Depends what you wanted in the first place.

BMW X7

Big, tall, demanding attention even parked. You sit high, watching the world disappear beneath you. Feels powerful until you realize how much there is to maintain. Sensors whisper warnings, tires cost too much, gas too often. But for a moment, when it’s spotless and silent, it feels worth all of it.

Mercedes-Benz EQE

Sometimes a product launches and immediately becomes outdated by its own replacement. That’s basically what happened with VW’s electric bus. They launched a sixty thousand dollar version and then turned around and released something better for less money. Now they’re stuck with a bunch of vans nobody wants to buy.

Ford E-Transit

Ford just went ahead and electrified their bestselling van and honestly it works. Somewhere around fifty grand base price and you get the same cargo space you’re used to but without gas stations. I saw one at a delivery depot last month and the driver said he never wants to go back to diesel. The range isn’t amazing but for city routes it’s perfect. It looks exactly like a regular Transit which means it doesn’t scream look at me I’m electric and sometimes that’s what you want from a work van.

Mercedes-Benz eSprinter

The eSprinter feels overpriced until you drive it and then you kind of understand. Around sixty-five grand and yeah that’s a lot for a van but it’s a Mercedes van. The build quality is just different from everything else. My neighbor runs a catering business and got one and says the reliability alone justifies the cost. The battery placement doesn’t mess with cargo space which seems obvious but apparently not everyone figured that out. It’s smooth and quiet in a way that makes you forget you’re driving something this big.

Rivian EDV

Amazon’s delivery vans that you can actually buy now if you want. Around eighty grand which is wild for a van but Rivian builds things differently. The whole design is focused on delivery drivers which sounds basic but means everything is in the right place. I talked to a driver once who said the ergonomics make the twelve hour shifts less painful. The range is solid and the tech is miles ahead of traditional vans. It looks futuristic in a way that either works for you or doesn’t.

BrightDrop Zevo 600

GM’s entry into this whole thing and they’re taking it seriously. Around sixty thousand and the cargo space is massive. The name is kind of corny but whatever the van itself is practical. The software updates over the air which means it gets better over time instead of just older. I watched one parallel park itself once and it was smoother than I’ve ever done it. Built in shelving systems that actually make sense for delivery work not just theoretical cargo.

Arrival Van

British design that feels like someone actually thought about what van drivers need. Around fifty-five grand and modular construction means repairs are supposedly easier. Haven’t been around long enough to know if that’s true but the concept makes sense. The interior is sparse but functional in a way that feels honest. The turning radius is tight enough for city streets that were designed for horses. I like that it doesn’t try to be fancy it just tries to be useful.

Canoo LDV 190

The weird looking one that grows on you. Around thirty-five grand which undercuts almost everything here. The design is polarizing but there’s something charming about how different it is. Lots of window space means visibility is actually good which seems rare in modern vehicles. The flat floor makes loading and unloading less of a back destroyer. It’s the underdog choice and I always root for underdogs even when they look strange.

Fisker Pear Commercial

Fisker trying to break into the commercial space with something affordable. Around forty grand supposedly when it actually comes out. The specs look good on paper but Fisker has a history of promising things and delivering something else. The range estimates are optimistic which probably means real world will be less. But if they pull it off at that price point it could shake things up. I’m cautiously interested which is about as enthusiastic as I get about vaporware.

Lightning eTransit

Not Ford’s official one but the conversion company that’s been doing this for years. Around seventy grand to convert your existing Transit. The advantage is you keep the van you already know and trust. The disadvantage is it’s expensive and range suffers compared to purpose built options. But some businesses swear by it because their drivers don’t need to learn a new vehicle. The battery tech is proven even if it’s not cutting edge. Sometimes boring and reliable beats new and exciting.

Workhorse C1000

American company that’s been struggling but keeps trying. Around fifty-five grand and built specifically for last mile delivery. The range is okay not great but enough for most urban routes. I’m rooting for them to succeed because competition is good but the financial situation seems sketchy. The van itself is fine nothing spectacular but it works. If they can stay in business long enough to build a reputation they might have something.

Maxus eDeliver 9

Chinese import that nobody talks about but probably should. Around fifty grand and the specs are competitive with everything else. The stigma around Chinese vehicles is real but this one has been in Europe for a while and seems solid. The warranty is surprisingly good which suggests they’re confident or desperate. Either way it’s a value proposition that’s hard to ignore. Saw one at a loading dock once and it looked normal which is either boring or reassuring depending on your perspective.

Lexus is blurring categories with a flagship that mixes sedan luxury and minivan practicality. The result is a tech packed, space-focused design that challenges what a six-figure luxury car is supposed to be.

Lexus LM

Man… I swear, this thing confuses me. It’s like Lexus saw a private jet and went “yeah, but make it 4 wheels.” It’s got curtains, leather, like, massaging everything—but when you first see it on the road you’re like… is that, um, a Toyota van from 2008? (no offense). I think it costs around a hundred grand, which—if you told me I could buy a mini hotel room on wheels—I guess it makes sense. But still. It’s a van. Fancy, sure. But still a van. My brain can’t process that.

Toyota Sienna

Every mom I know has some kind of trauma involving a Sienna. The sliding door, the Goldfish crumbs, that faint smell of… what do you call it… desperation? Still, it’s kinda bulletproof, like, if you crash it tomorrow, it’ll still start. It’s like the family version of a cockroach. Costs what, forty-something? Maybe fifty with the hybrid thing. You’ll hate it but also defend it passionately if anyone else insults it. Weird loyalty.

Honda Odyssey

Honestly, if you ever rode in one as a kid, tell me that wasn’t the softest seat in the world. My uncle had one, smelled like french fries and Armor All, and the DVD player never worked right. He’d smack it, mutter something about “cheap plastic.” Now those things are like $45K and feel… worse? Too clean. Too screens-everywhere. No mystery anymore.

Mercedes EQV

Okay so this is the “fancy” electric van thing Mercedes made. Saw one once in LA, looked like an airport shuttle trying too hard. I get the idea—silent, luxurious, smooth ride—but when you spend like 80 or 90 grand, you kinda expect some emotion. Instead, it feels like a hotel elevator: quiet but dead inside.

Kia Carnival

Bro, Kia out here pretending the Carnival isn’t a minivan. “Multipurpose Vehicle”—like c’mon, it’s got sliding doors, who are we fooling. But I gotta say, it looks good. Like unusually good for something under 40 grand. I sat in one at a mall once (don’t ask why), and the seats felt way more expensive than they had any right to. I almost wanted to nap in it, which probably says a lot.

Chrysler Pacifica

You know when a car tries too hard to be modern? That’s the Pacifica. All those little “tech” touches that stop working after a year. My cousin had one, hybrid version—cost nearly 50K—and yeah, day one he’s like “it’s amazing,” day 200 he’s like “the doors won’t close again.” Every Chrysler owner I know becomes a part-time mechanic. Respect though.

Tesla Model X

Ugh. The falcon doors. Cool for five minutes until you park near a wall. I remember sitting in one, and the owner was like “isn’t it amazing?” while I was too busy trying to duck under the door wings like a confused bird. It’s almost a van, kinda SUV, but also spaceship? The price tag’s like 100-something K if you want the “Plaid” nonsense. Fast, yeah, but soulless. Like dating a robot.

BMW i7

Okay, not a van, but humor me. When I first saw someone watching Netflix on the back seats of a sedan, I realized money just stops making sense at a certain point. Starts around $110K, maybe more, depending on, I dunno, your greed. It smells nice though. BMW leather always smells like success and stress mixed together.

Toyota Alphard

Japan’s secret luxury flex. Looks like a Gucci toaster. But inside? My god. Recliners, light strips, cup holders that feel custom-sized for your hands. I saw a video of a dude getting chauffeured in one, he looked so calm. Probably thinking “why haven’t Americans figured out vans can be luxury too?” It’s like 70–80K, I think. Worth it if you want to feel like you live inside a spa.

Modern cars are full of buttons and switches that make our lives easier but some of them can actually cause expensive trouble if we use them the wrong way without even knowing it. Most of us just hop in the car and hit buttons out of habit but one specific mistake people make every single day is putting a massive amount of stress on the car’s most expensive parts. If you want to avoid a huge bill at the mechanic shop you really need to check how you are handling your car’s controls especially when you are parking or driving in bad weather.

The Parking Brake Oversight

A lot of people just put their car in Park and let go of the brake pedal without ever touching the actual parking brake button or lever. This mistake makes a tiny metal pin called a parking pawl hold the entire weight of your car which can eventually snap and cost a fortune to fix.

Forcing The AC Max Button

Hitting the Max AC button as soon as you get into a boiling hot car puts a huge sudden load on the compressor and the engine. It is much better to roll down the windows for a minute to let the hot air out first so the system doesn’t have to work ten times harder than it should.

The Recirculation Button Trap

Leaving the air recirculation button on for your entire drive in the winter can trap way too much moisture inside the cabin. This causes your windows to fog up badly and can even lead to mold growing inside your vents which is a total nightmare to clean out.

Shifting Before Stopping

If you hit the Reverse or Drive button while the car is still rolling even just a little bit you are grinding the gears inside the transmission. Doing this regularly will wear out the internal parts fast and you might find yourself needing a total transmission replacement way sooner than expected.

Ignoring The Traction Control

Some people turn off the traction control button because they think it makes the car feel more sporty or powerful on dry roads. But forgetting to turn it back on when it rains or snows can lead to a nasty accident and very expensive body shop repairs.

Using Cruise Control In Rain

Hitting the cruise control button when the roads are wet is a massive mistake that many drivers make on the highway. If your car starts to hydroplane the system might actually try to speed up to keep the pace which can cause you to lose total control of the vehicle.

Starting With Accessories On

Leaving buttons for the seat heaters, radio and wipers in the “on” position when you turn off the car means they all draw power the second you start it up next time. This puts a ton of extra strain on your battery and the starter motor which can lead to your car not starting on a cold morning.

Holding The Window Button

If you keep holding the power window button down after the glass is already all the way up or down you are straining the little motor inside the door. This can burn out the window regulator and then you will be stuck with a window that won’t close until you pay for a repair.

The Start Stop Button Rush

Many new cars have a button that shuts the engine off at red lights to save gas but some people hate it and mash the button constantly. If you don’t let the car finish its cycle or if you force it too much you might put unnecessary wear on the heavy duty starter.

Fog Light Mistakes

Leaving your high intensity rear fog light button on when it is perfectly clear out can actually blind the drivers behind you and is even illegal in some places. Not only is it a safety issue but it can also melt the plastic housing of the light if the bulb gets too hot for too long.

Tesla is famous for minimalist design and cutting-edge tech, but not every futuristic detail is a joy to use. Some features that look impressive in photos or showrooms end up frustrating owners in everyday driving. From touchscreen controls to unconventional design choices, these Tesla details prove that high-tech doesn’t always mean high-comfort.

Model 3

you ever press that stupid door handle and just… stand there? like, which way does it go again? every time I forget. it looks all sleek and fancy, feels very “look at me I’m the future,” but when it’s raining or I’ve got groceries, I swear it hates me. yeah, the car’s what, around $40k now? worth it for the screen maybe, but man, why can’t a handle just be a handle.

Model S

honestly I love this car but also… I don’t? it’s quiet, fast, space-age and all that but everything’s too smooth. like, no buttons anywhere. wanna open the glove box? tap some random digital button like a nerd. remember when cars had clicky buttons that felt alive? this one’s like an iPad with wheels. nailed the cool factor, sure, but living with it’s a whole lesson in patience.

Model Y

so, I borrowed my cousin’s once and, uh, the interior just feels like someone forgot to finish it. just white walls. and then you get that giant screen, again, like we all suddenly love touching screens while driving 70 mph. the worst part? that steering wheel heater menu hidden somewhere between seventeen options. $50k car and I still had cold hands.

Model X

I mean, yeah, falcon doors. amazing for like five seconds, then they stop halfway one day and you’re standing outside like an idiot. I remember one Christmas morning, trying to open them in my friend’s driveway and just freezing there. it beeped at me like it was judging me. $100k for a car that moves its wings slower than a chicken.

Cybertruck

the Cybertruck’s this meme that became real, you know? looks tough, like something from a sci-fi movie, but I don’t trust a car that sharp to walk past it without getting cut. heard fingers get pinched too. I saw one parked at a mall, shiny as hell, but the stainless steel thing leaves smudges everywhere. like owning a fridge you have to polish daily. $60k fridge, cool. literally.

Model X Plaid

oh god that yoke steering. fun for about ten minutes then you realize turning into a parking space feels like piloting a spaceship mid-menu. no stalks either, you just swipe stuff on the wheel. try doing that in traffic, ha. every time I drove it I thought “why am I working so hard to go get milk.” nearly $110k of frustration disguised as luxury.

Model Y Performance

this one’s actually fun, not gonna lie. but that road noise, oof. those giant wheels make it feel like riding a roller coaster on gravel. also weird smell inside, kind of like rubber mixed with electronics. maybe it’s just me. price isn’t bad though, around $55k now I think. one day I drove it barefoot just to see if it felt more… human. still noisy.

Model 3 Highland

so the new one with all the “upgrades” guess what, they took the stalks away too. I just can’t. you use the screen to signal turns now and every time I do it I mutter something like “this is dumb” but still do it anyway. looks pretty though. inside feels softer. but yeah, high tech for the sake of tech sometimes. still like $38-40k so eh, maybe worth it if you’re into suffering beautifully.

Roadster (the old one)

ah, the OG. that thing felt like someone stuffed a laptop inside a Lotus. crazy acceleration, tiny seats, zero room for snacks. when I sat in one, the dash creaked like plastic from a 90s toy shop. $200k for the new one coming, apparently, and I bet it’ll launch you to the moon while you argue with a touch screen that won’t open the glove box. progress, huh.

Dodge is best known for muscle cars and aggressive performance, but at one point, the brand took a very different approach. Quietly, Dodge introduced a luxurious special car designed to appeal specifically to women focusing on comfort, design, and everyday usability rather than raw power. The idea was ahead of its time, but the car never gained widespread attention, leaving it as one of the most overlooked and rarely driven vehicles in Dodge’s history.

Dodge La Femme

the mythical one. the pink and white spaceship from the 50s. looks like a car you’d expect to come with perfume samples and a handbag (which it literally did). $3,000-something back then which was kinda expensive at the time, especially for something that came with accessories. I saw pictures once, pastel everything. honestly looks kinda badass now, like retro confidence. but back then people laughed at it. too early for its own good maybe.

Dodge Dart Swinger

don’t laugh at the name. actually, do. I always do. technically not the “woman’s car,” but there was something weirdly elegant about the Swinger trims, soft seats, glittery paint, a bit too flirtatious for its own good. $2,800 new, maybe. now if you find one that isn’t rusted out, you could cruise around smelling like old gas and hairspray, which sounds oddly nice.

Dodge Polara

big boat energy. you could lie down and still have space left. it had that slightly lazy yet confident vibe, like it would tell you “don’t rush.” maybe that’s why some women loved it back in the day. smelled like vinyl and lipstick and cigarette smoke, that 60s mix. I saw one on a farm once, somehow still running. $4,000 new then, which makes it funnier considering people now drop 80 grand on half-electric trucks.

Dodge Aspen SE

this one feels like a disco on wheels. like the kind of car that’d have cheap perfume trapped in the fabric forever. the SE trim even had luxury touches, fake wood, sparkly paint, little details that felt extra. and it was one of those cars that looked better dirty. around $6k in the late 70s, I think. not really fast. but stylish in that I’m here for fun, not the freeway way.

Dodge 400 Convertible

the one that screamed “I just got my life together.” soft, curvy, smelled like wet top fabric when it rained. every time I see a picture, I imagine someone wearing big sunglasses and drinking from a thermos. $9k or so back in the day, which seems wild for what you got, but I love that energy. confident and slightly fragile, just like life.

Dodge Monaco Brougham

fancy name, fancy car. had those long plush seats that felt like couches your grandma covered with plastic. power everything, even the windows made a proud little electric hum. $5,000 maybe, but it looked more. you’d sit in it and instantly straighten your back. women liked the glamour, men liked pretending it was a muscle car. balance.

Dodge Dynasty

ugh. this one was trying too hard to be fancy. like, corporate fancy. not fun fancy. still, some women loved it, especially the ones who didn’t care what people thought. $17k new, I think. smelled like fresh carpet cleaner and your aunt’s floral perfume. not fast, but it had that calm luxury thing going. the kind where you just float down the road humming to yourself.

Dodge Intrepid

this one was sneaky cool. like…it wasn’t exactly luxurious, but there was something about its design, futuristic, almost. $22k new, which feels like a lot for something that now probably sits broken in driveways. I sat in one once that smelled like crayons. the dash kinda melted in the heat. but the woman driving it? totally in control. that car fit her.

Dodge Stealth

okay, hear me out, this one might not have been marketed “for women,” but man, I knew women who drove it like it was therapy. sharp edges, turbo engines, that quiet confidence. it looked expensive, too, $30k at least back then. smelled like plastic and adrenaline. it didn’t shout “luxury,” it whispered “don’t underestimate me.”

Dodge Caliber

oh god, the Caliber. I swear everyone either loved it or hated it. some trims had these surprisingly girlish touches, like rounded interiors and soft colors. $17k or something. kinda shaped like a half-deflated sneaker, not gonna lie. but somehow, it worked. I think people liked how unbothered it was, cheap, kind of weird, unapologetically itself.

Length has always been a symbol of luxury, excess, and pure automotive confidence. From outrageous limousines to massive classic sedans, some cars weren’t just designed to drive they were designed to make an entrance. In this video, we’re counting down 10 of the longest cars ever built, showcasing the machines that stretched automotive design to its absolute limits.

Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five

Man, the Fleetwood Seventy-Five… that thing is massive. Like, you don’t drive it, you guide it, like steering a barge through traffic. I saw one once in this weird beige color, smelled like tired leather and old cigarettes. You could fit a whole argument with your spouse in that backseat and still have legroom. They go for what, maybe 20–30 grand now? Feels like too little for something this ridiculous.

Mercedes-Maybach S680

Okay so, modern long cars, this one, the Maybach S680, it’s so long it feels like they built it just so billionaires could stretch more. I sat in one at an auto show once… or maybe a demo version? Can’t remember. All I remember is the silence inside, it’s unnatural. Like being buried alive but with massaging seats. Price tag? Around $230k, give or take. Which, you know, sure if your wallet hates being heavy.

Lincoln Continental Limousine (1990s era)

I always picture old politicians riding in these, waving like they smell their own perfume. Those chrome strips everywhere, those stubby mirrors… it’s absurd in a kinda charming way. I think I saw one converted into a prom limo once, bright pink with glitter. Horrific, but in a fun “what were they thinking” way. Probably worth nothing now, maybe 10k if you find someone weird enough.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended

I don’t even get the Phantom. Like, yeah, it’s gorgeous and luxury and hand-built, whatever, but it’s so unnecessarily long. It feels like the car version of someone bragging at a dinner party. But I’d 100% ride in one. Hypocrisy, I know. Maybe $550k-ish? (I could be off, who knows, I’m not shopping Rolls today.)

Bentley Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase

This one always feels like the Maybach’s British cousin who secretly vapes. Long nose, sharp suit, dirty boots. I actually like how it looks though big, arrogant, confident, like “I came here to park badly.” Costs about $340k, I think. Would I own one? Probably not. But I’d talk about owning one for months.

Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz (late ‘50s)

Oh man, this one makes me nostalgic even though I wasn’t alive in the ‘50s. Chrome as far as the eye can see. Tailfins tall enough to stab the moon. Smells like gasoline and hot vinyl seats. If you’ve got 60 grand lying around, you could own the most dramatic driveway ornament in America. Every inch of that car screams, “look at me, I’m excessive.” And I love it.

Chrysler New Yorker (1960s)

It’s weirdly beautiful, the Chrysler New Yorker. Like a grandpa in a tux, kinda slow, kinda saggy, but elegant if you squint. Those cars always made this exhausting “whoosh” sound when the doors closed. My uncle had one, used to drive us to the diner. I can still smell the old syrup and dust in the backseat. You could probably find one for $25k tops now.

Rolls-Royce Silver Spur

Ah, another long Rolls. They just keep making them longer like some kind of reverse Tetris game. I once saw a Silver Spur parked next to a Prius, it was like seeing a great white next to a sardine. Price? well, back then it was huge money, today, probably $30–40k used, which feels wrong. You could live in that backseat. Maybe we should.

Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman

This is dictator chic. Everyone from Elvis to… well, less lovable historical figures had one. You just know this car has secrets soaked into the upholstery. Long, black, intimidating, and probably a nightmare to park. Sometimes you see them auctioned off for $150k or more, depending on who previously smoked cigars inside it. Creepy cool, I’ll say that.

Lincoln Navigator L

And okay, maybe I cheated a little with this one, it’s an SUV, yeah. But so long it feels like your rear bumper gets forgotten at traffic lights. I drove one once (a rental), and it felt like piloting a yacht made of pure plush. Costs around $100k these days if you go fancy. The ride’s smooth though, like butter melting on pancakes, but parking? Forget it. I gave up once and just went home.

Finding a low-mileage Sprinter with a proper weekender conversion isn’t easy, but this 2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 stands out. With just 39,000 miles on the clock, it offers the durability Sprinters are known for, paired with a practical setup for road trips, camping, and long weekends. If you’re looking for a versatile van that’s ready for adventure without heavy wear, this one is worth a closer look.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500

so there’s this 2015 sprinter 3500 with only 39k miles, and it’s got one of those weekender conversions you know, tiny bed, little sink, maybe a fridge that makes a humming sound at night. i love it but i also hate that i love it. something about a diesel van that costs around 60 grand feels weirdly indulgent, like “i’m quitting my job and living free” but also “i checked mortgage rates before buying tires.” the inside smells like wood and road trips that never quite happened. and those cupholders… way too shallow.

Ford Transit

the transit’s like the sprinter’s rough cousin. cheaper, loud, kinda lazy but reliable. i once sat in one during a camping trip and the sliding door kept squeaking every time someone moved, like it was tattling on us. you can get a used one for around 30 or 35k and it’ll probably smell like wet gear and gas station coffee forever. still, charming in a messy way.

Ram ProMaster

this one’s boxy. very boxy. i always feel like i’m driving a bread truck that wants to be an apartment. saw one at a mechanic once getting solar panels installed and the guy working on it looked like he hadn’t slept in two days. about 40k gets you one that’s already halfway converted by someone named “Todd” who probably watches vanlife videos more than he sleeps.

Chevy Express

this thing’s like an ancient beast that refuses to die. still around somehow. no touchscreen, no drama, just noise and space. costs, what, maybe 25k? and if you find one under 100k miles it probably belonged to a band or a plumber. i like that. it smells like tools and lost dreams.

Nissan NV2500

weird shape, tall roof, feels like driving a toaster. but honestly, not bad. i kinda liked how simple it felt when i drove one for deliveries once. climbs steep roads like an old man who refuses to use the elevator. about 35k, depending, and the seat fabric always feels like borrowed carpet.

basically a Chevy Express but wearing a slightly cleaner shirt. drives the same, rattles in the same places, but i swear the logo gives people the illusion of class. around 28 to 32 grand. saw one converted into a camper once with fairy lights and tiny curtains… looked cozy until it started raining, and then all that coziness turned into a damp regret fest.

not gonna lie, i keep forgetting this van exists. way smaller than the Sprinter but still overpriced because it’s Mercedes. maybe 35 to 40 grand if it’s in nice shape. drove one once, and it had this oddly perfect steering feel German confidence mixed with corporate sadness. also why does every Metris smell faintly like office chairs?

ah, nostalgia on wheels. every old hippie or young influencer dreams of this thing. costs stupid money now, like 50k for something that leaks oil and wisdom equally. i saw one in yellow once, parked by a lake, and the owner was reading a book with a blanket around him. looked peaceful until i heard the starter struggling when he tried to leave. art meets reality.

these old vans, man. my dad had one, blue, smelled like vinyl and secrets. you could haul anything in it. or sleep in it. or both at once. those things never die, but they do groan like an aching back when cold. you can get one for 10 or 15 grand if you don’t mind tuning it every other week.

feels like the 3500’s younger sibling who still cares about fuel economy and yoga mats. around 55k if low mileage. smooth ride though, like it’s always one decaf latte away from starting a road trip vlog. interiors feel smart until something goes wrong then it’s a $2,000 oops moment.
