Modern performance cars are getting faster but less engaging to drive these days. You see it in how they blast off the line so quick now with all that power and tech helping them. But something feels off in the way they handle the road or connect with you. It’s like the speed is there alright but the fun part sort of fades away. Maybe it’s the electronics or the way they’re built now. People talk about it sometimes when they’re owning one. Not sure if it’s just me noticing or what.

Porsche 911 Turbo S

The Porsche 911 Turbo S sits there in the garage feeling pretty powerful I guess. You own it and it seems fast when you push it but then it kind of holds your hand too much. Sometimes it engages and other times not so much. The speed is impressive though and that’s what you wanted maybe. But owning it day to day it repeats that fast feeling without much surprise. Not sure if it’s less fun or just different now.
