Another Mercedes-AMG EV is coming that has not been revealed yet, joining the lineup with the electric GT four-door and the high-powered SUV models planned. Mercedes-AMG confirmed this third EV officially though details stay under wraps for now, expected around late 2027 as an SUV coupe sort of thing. It will use that new AMG.EA platform with axial flux motors and big power outputs over 1000 hp maybe, alongside fake engine sounds and shifts to feel more like traditional AMGs. The GT successor comes first later this year from the GT XX concept, then SUV early 2027, and this one after with sloping roofline. It’s part of their push into electrics while keeping V8s too, but this unrevealed one waits in the background.
