Okay, the 1954 Bonneville Special, uhm, this thing was Harley Earl’s fever dream from salt flat racers, plexiglass bubble top, gull-wing doors, rocket fins everywhere like a jet on wheels. Twin versions showed at Motorama, supercharged V8 under that sleek body, looked fast parked. Why good? Defined 50s excess, could’ve been Pontiac’s Corvette killer with that GT vibe. Random, one got crushed but styling leaked to production cars. Auctions push 1 to 2 million now for the survivors, insane jump. Honestly, would’ve owned the dream car scene.
Pontiac Club de Mer

Club de Mer from 1956, man, this was pure spaceship, stainless steel panels, hardtop bubble canopy, 370 hp Strato-Streak V8, fins tall as your ego.
